Free education for migrant children may be banned in Russia

Deputies of the Russian State Duma are preparing a bill prohibiting free education for migrant children. This was announced by Deputy Yaroslav Nilov. The project provides for the introduction of paid education to foreign students between grades 1-11. They will also have the right to take the test for knowledge of the Russian language only 3 times. The project was previously rejected, but is now being reintroduced in an updated look.

Recall that from April 1, a test on the Russian language was introduced in Russia before the admission of migrant children to school. To date, more than 3.6 thousand children have applied for testing, of which 270 have successfully passed.
