Former Minister and Presidential Adviser Jo‘rabekov Passes Away

State and public figure, Adviser to the Minister of Water Resources Ismoil Jo‘rabekov, has passed away at the age of 94.
Born in 1931 in Samarkand region, Jo‘rabekov held high-ranking positions for many years, including Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR, Minister of Water Resources, Chairman of the State Agro-Industrial Committee, and Presidential Adviser on socio-economic affairs.
In the early years of Uzbekistan’s independence, he actively contributed to state governance and later continued his work as an adviser in the water management sector.
For his long years of service, Jo‘rabekov was awarded the orders “El-yurt hurmati” (Respect of the Nation), “Buyuk xizmatlari uchun” (For Great Services), “Do‘stlik” (Friendship), and “Mehnat shuhrati” (Labor Glory), along with other honorary titles.
