Former head of Uzmetkombinat put on international wanted list
Former chairman of the board of Uzbek Metallurgical Combine JSC Dilshod Akhmedov has been put on international wanted list through Interpol.
He is charged under Part 3 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or embezzlement by embezzlement).
Dilshod Akhmedov was appointed chairman of the board of Uzmetkombinat on October 16, 2024, and was dismissed from his post in August 2025. Before that, he held the positions of Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade.
