Forest fire in Israel
A forest fire broke out in Jerusalem on the morning of April 30. The Israeli defense minister has called in the military to bring the fire under control. Israel has also urgently requested assistance from Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and Italy. The country is hoping for firefighting aircraft to arrive before dark, otherwise only ground units will be able to fight the fire at night, which will significantly complicate extinguishing it.
