Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova emphasized that involving school teachers and MTT employees in excessive work, in particular, in the “Initiative Budget” project and unreasonable fundraising will not be allowed.
According to the minister, one of the school principals in the Kuva district was fired for demanding that 700 thousand soums be deducted from teachers’ salaries to collect votes for the Open Budget.
“However, in the system, sometimes there are officials who make incorrect demands on the team, give instructions to collect funds for various purposes, in short, still think in the old way,” the minister wrote on the Telegram channel.
In this regard, Hilola Umarova asked teachers to contact the ministry if they encounter situations such as forced participation in voting.
We would like to remind you that the voting phase for the 2025 season of the "Initiative Budget" began on March 11. Voting will continue until March 20, and the winners will be announced on March 21, the day of the Navruz holiday.
