For the new academic year, it is planned to increase the number of buses and services in Tashkent

From September 4, a new academic year begins throughout the Republic. In this regard, buses in the capital are expected to increase to 1.5 thousand, and services to 22.8 thousand.
Today, 1,464 buses are launched in Tashkent, the number of services in it is 21.7 thousand. "Toshshahartransxizmat" said that in connection with the new academic year, it is planned to increase buses to 1,550 and the number of services to be completed to 22.8 thousand.

An additional 9 new bus routes are also expected to be established during September.

For reference, JSC "Toshshahartransxizmat" has 8 bus palaces, which are currently served by 158 bus routes.

Earlier, the Tashkent Metro reported that in"peak times" the interval of train traffic on certain lines of the Metro will be reduced to 1.5 minutes.
