Extreme athlete Sergey Boytsov, previously known for doing pull-ups at an altitude of 1,500 meters, has now set a new record by playing football at an altitude of 1,800 meters.
He played the match with blogger Mikhail Litvin on a special football platform suspended from a hot-air balloon. Preparing this platform, which weighed more than 2.5 tons, took one year. The flight was supervised by the head of the Air Sports Federation, and the record was officially confirmed in the air by a representative of the “Russian Book of Records.”

During the 1.5-hour flight, all 20 footballs used in the game fell down. The match ended with the raising of the Russian flag and the participants’ parachute jump.
