Due to the military conflict in Sudan, some provinces of the country are running out of food. The United Nations asked the conflicting parties to stop military action to make way for the delivery of food to the people.
The organization noted that it was “deeply concerned” about the resumption of military action in the region.
” We call on the sides of the conflict in Sudan to stop fighting and allow assistance to be provided to save the lives of civilians in need, " the UN said in a statement.
They add that there have been hundreds of wounded and killed since the military conflict resumed.

Fierce clashes occurred in the capital Khartoum, with thousands of residents leaving the city, killing hundreds.
