Food prices will not rise during the holidays

Ahead of the New Year holidays, price stability will be ensured for essential food products whose demand may increase sharply. The Competition Committee has sent relevant instructions to major retail chains, including Korzinka, Makro, Havas, Baraka, Magnum, Assorti, B1 and Magnit.

Suppliers are required to promptly notify the Committee of any price changes, increases in logistics costs, or other factors that could lead to higher prices.

In addition, retail chains have been instructed to prevent unjustified price hikes by suppliers and to take appropriate measures if suspicious pricing practices are identified.
