Floods in Vietnam claim the lives of nearly 100 people

In Vietnam, at least 90 people have died and 12 are missing due to floods and landslides caused by heavy rains. A total of 186,000 homes have been damaged, and more than three million livestock have died. The damage has exceeded 300 million dollars.
The worst-hit area is Dak Lak province, where more than 60 people have died. Storms and rainfall have left nearly 258,000 residents without electricity, and road and railway transportation has been suspended.

Experts say Vietnam has become increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather due to climate change.
