Flood in Navoi: cars and houses damaged

Heavy rains caused mudslides in the Khatirchi, Karmana and Nurota districts of Navoi region.
On May 21, between 13:45 and 15:40, heavy rainfall was observed in mountainous and foothill areas, flooding some areas. Part of the road in Khatirchi district was blocked by stones and mud. As a result, Nexia-1, Cobalt, Nexia-3 and UAZ-469 cars and several houses were damaged.
Also, residents living in areas near the Angidon, Langar, Kattasay and Maidon streams were temporarily evacuated to safe places. Water entered the household and auxiliary equipment of 7 houses in Karmana district.
Currently, restoration work is underway in the regions with the participation of 37 vehicles and 173 specialists. According to preliminary data, no serious casualties or injuries were recorded. The situation is fully under control.
