Flood in Jizzakh

Today, May 27, a flood occurred in Zamin as a result of heavy rainfall. The flood overflowed the stream bed and entered the highway passing through the neighborhood, carrying mud and rocks. As a result, traffic on a part of the road was temporarily stopped.
The Emergency Services, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local authorities and relevant services immediately arrived at the scene and carried out cleaning work using engineering equipment. At the moment, traffic has been partially restored.
Uzhydromet has asked citizens living in mountainous and mountainous areas, vacationers and drivers traveling in mountainous areas to take precautionary measures due to the expected rains from May 28 to June 2.
