⚡️ First group of Uzbek pilgrims departs for Hajj
On May 13, 2025, the first group of Uzbek pilgrims intending to perform Hajj departed from Tashkent International Airport for Saudi Arabia.
Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazar, Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs Sodiq Toshboyev, clerics, imams and media representatives attended the ceremony to see them off. According to the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, pilgrims will fly from 9 cities - Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, Karshi, Termez, Bukhara, Navoi, Urgench and Nukus. Hajj flights will be carried out daily until May 28.
