A major fire at a chemical plant in São Paulo State, Brazil, triggered a series of explosions in the city's sewer network.
According to local authorities, flammable chemicals stored at the facility evaporated due to the intense heat and spread through the underground sewer system.
As a result, several powerful explosions occurred inside sewer manholes, sending some manhole covers flying into the air.
No fatalities or injuries have been reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing its potential environmental impact.
