Fire broke out in a shopping complex in Bukhara

A fire broke out in two-story department stores located in the Bukhara city of Ibn Sina Street. 

On August 1, at 02:05, the regional FBI duty dispatch service was called by a regional National Guard officer who reported that a fire was happening in a two-story department store (in vernacular, an old PMK shopping complex)located on the side of the road.

Eleven Fire-Rescue crews as well as seven collaborative services techniques were recruited from the provincial Garrison on the scene. Arriving at the fire site at 02:07, information was received that the department stores were burning scattered over an area of approximately 700 square meters, and by 03:11 the complete shutdown was completed.
No human fatalities and bodily injuries were recorded as a result of the fire. 

An investigation into the resulting fire is underway by the provincial IIB and the FBI pending an investigation. A fire-technical examination was appointed in order to determine the cause of the fire.

Regional sector leaders, the head of the FBI Department and other responsible leaders were involved in the scene.

As a result of the fire, the interior merchandise and ceiling of 15 two-storey shops owned by business entities located on the side of Ibn Sino Street Road were burned, and the goods material goods and store equipment contained within 8 department stores (23 stores in total) in a one-storey shopping pavilion overlooking the Bukhara central peasant market at the same address were damaged by burning. 10,000 square metres of market-owned pavilions and department stores were retained from the fire.
