Eight students and two teachers were injured in a fire at an elementary school in Tokyo's Kita district. More than 300 students were evacuated from the school after the incident.
According to officials, the condition of the injured is not serious, most of them are suffering from smoke inhalation. Videos circulating on social media showed students forced to climb out of windows to escape the fire.
According to preliminary information, the fire started in the music room on the 4th floor of the school. An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
