Final results of elections in Turkmenistan summed up

The final results of the elections held in Turkmenistan on March 26 have been summed up. Local media have already published lists of people's deputies of the Mejlis, the publication of lists of elected members of etrap, velayat, city Khalk maslakhaty and Gengesh continues. The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan spoke about the composition of the renewed parliament. It is noted that more than 41% of deputies are young people under 40 years old, more than 25% of the total number of deputies are women. This indicates the increasing role of the beautiful half of humanity in the socio-political life of the country, as well as the increase in the political activity of the younger generation.

The results of the elections showed a high level of preparation of all electoral stages, as well as the involvement of voters in the democratic reforms implemented by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
