FIFA to award World Cup champions with special rings for the first time in history
FIFA announced that the winners of the 2026 World Cup final will, for the first time, receive special championship rings. On Sunday, during the Argentina vs Spain match, the winning team will be presented with 30 unique rings.
One side of the ring features the World Cup trophy, while the other is customized with the symbols of the champion team. Each ring carries an individual number, is tailored to fit the owner’s finger, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Additionally, 1,996 limited‑edition rings will be produced for fans and sold worldwide as official licensed merchandise of the tournament.
