Our people see in you – thousands of skilled builders and engineers, craftsmen and architects, representatives of design and contracting organizations – selfless people making a worthy contribution to the development of the New Uzbekistan. 

Your tireless work is building more and more new residential areas, industrial enterprises, networks of roads and communications, objects in the fields of education, health, culture and sports, which radically transform the face of the country, making our life even more comfortable and prosperous. The construction of strong and beautiful buildings, modern roads and bridges for the people is truly one of the most good deeds in the world.

And on this festive day, of course, you deserve sincere gratitude for such noble activity. 

Dear compatriots!

Today we are all witnessing that our country has turned into a huge construction site in the full sense of the word. The construction industry, like other areas, is rapidly developing, new technologies and innovations, the most advanced architectural solutions are being actively introduced in it.

Over the past seven years, the volume of construction in the country has increased many times – from 30 trillion soums in 2016 to 131 trillion soums in 2022, and in the first half of this year it reached 68 trillion soums. All this shows how far our builders have come in a short period of time.

It should be noted that in recent years, within the framework of the Obod Kishlok and Obod Mahalla programs, huge work has been carried out in more than 1,500 villages and mahallas of the republic on the construction and improvement of road and transport infrastructure, engineering and communication networks, and social facilities.

And such work continues consistently based on the needs of the population. This also confirms the fact that this year, housing is being built for a total of 90 thousand apartments in the Yangi Uzbekistan arrays and in areas where this issue is particularly relevant.

Indeed, today there is every reason to say that a new stage has begun in the construction sector in the country. First of all, it is the strengthening of its legal and material-technical base, the emergence of new construction organizations in all regions of the republic, working on the basis of advanced technologies and approaches, accelerated development of the production of building materials, the creation of a system of specialized training of qualified personnel.

Dear friends!

Proceeding from the important and urgent tasks set out in the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan, together with you we have begun a lot of work to further deepen reforms in the sphere, create master plans and urban development projects based on new principles. In particular, programs are being formed to improve the public administration system in the field of urbanization and the development of appropriate urban planning documentation for settlements for 2023-2027.

The focus of our attention will continue to be on strengthening public control at all stages of construction, improving its quality and efficiency through the widespread introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the field, improving the working and living conditions of builders, and their comprehensive incentives.
