Fees for State Kindergartens Increased in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, parental fees for children attending state kindergartens have increased by an average of 6.8%. The new fees will take effect from September 1.

According to a Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated August 25, the fee amount depends on the location of the kindergarten, how many hours a day the child stays there, and the number of children from the same family attending the kindergarten.

Monthly fee for one child in Tashkent:

4–5 hours — 54,472 soums;

9 hours — 290,488 soums;

12 hours — 391,952 soums;

24 hours — 413,292 soums.

If several children from the same family attend a kindergarten, the fee will range from 36,300 to 294,756 soums.

In other regions, fees vary depending on the location of the kindergarten. For example, in regional centers, the fee for one child will range from 50,292 to 393,008 soums, while in district centers it will range from 40,568 to 311,828 soums.

The new fees will be calculated from September 1 based on a basic calculation value of 440,000 soums. The last increase in parental fees for state kindergartens took effect on January 1, 2025.
