Father strangles 22-year-old daughter to death for refusing to marry in Namangan

A father in the Turakurgan district of Namangan killed his daughter because she refused to marry her fiancé. The incident occurred in June of this year. The father, who thought he would not be able to stand the words of people, strangled his daughter with a scarf for breaking off their engagement, and when he noticed that the girl was not dead, he continued to strangle her with his hands. Then, he asked his neighbor to drive him somewhere and wanted to jump into a stream, but the neighbor dissuaded him from doing so. After that, the murderer confessed to his guilt and went to the Internal Affairs Directorate. The court sentenced the father who killed his daughter to 10 years in prison.
