On February 19, a 71-year-old father in the Yangiarik district of the Khorezm region shot and killed his 51-year-old son with a shotgun due to a family dispute. After killing his son, the man also shot and seriously injured his daughter-in-law and grandson.
The father who shot and killed his son was taken into custody as a precautionary measure. Preliminary investigations into the incident are underway.
