Father sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing 6-month-old son in Navoi
A father in the Khatirchi district of Navoi region who killed his 6-month-old son has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
According to court documents, the man got angry when the baby cried when he entered his room to rest, stuffed a sock in his mouth and shook him violently. As a result, the child's head hit the sofa, causing serious injuries. Despite being taken to the hospital, the baby died a few days later. The incident occurred in January of this year.
The court found the man guilty of the intentional killing of a helpless person with extreme cruelty and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
