Father beat his 15-year-old daughter with a rolling pin, causing her death

In Mubarek District of Kashkadarya Region, a father beat his 15-year-old daughter with a rolling pin after she took 400,000 soums without permission, resulting in her death. The court sentenced the man to five years in prison.

According to court documents, Q.J., born in 1982, served as a mechanic-driver in the tank battalion of a military unit in Mubarek District from 2005 to 2025.

The incident occurred on March 13, 2025. After learning that his daughter had taken 400,000 soums without permission, the man struck her several times with a rolling pin. The girl later lost consciousness, and emergency medical workers who arrived at the scene determined that she had died.

In court, the man said he had not intended to kill his daughter and that he only wanted to “discipline her.”

The Koson District Criminal Court found the man guilty of intentionally causing serious bodily harm and sentenced him to five years in prison.
