Fast-food poisoning in Fergana: 31 people hospitalized.
In the Uchkoprik district of the Fergana region, 37 people sought medical attention complaining of weakness, nausea, and diarrhea. Thirty-one of them were hospitalized.
Preliminary inquiries indicate that the individuals had consumed hot dogs and "non-burgers" (sandwiches made with traditional flatbread) prepared at a fast-food outlet on Navruzshoh Street.
The patients are currently receiving medical care. Samples have been collected from the suspected food products and the patients for laboratory analysis.
An epidemiological investigation into the incident is underway. The operations of the fast-food outlet have been temporarily suspended.
