Explosive attack targets lawmaker during interview in Honduras

An explosive device was thrown at an opposition lawmaker while he was giving an interview outside the National Congress building in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. The incident occurred on January 8. The deputy sustained serious injuries to his head, neck and shoulder and was immediately taken to hospital. Doctors say his condition is currently stable.
