Explosions rock Kabul, Taliban blames Pakistan

On the evening of October 15, two consecutive explosions occurred in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul. According to Arab News, the blasts were caused by an oil tanker and a generator explosion.
The incident triggered a fire in the city, and ambulances have been moving continuously through the streets. Taliban security forces have cordoned off the city center.

Sources suggest that the explosions may have resulted from airstrikes carried out by the Pakistani Air Force. A similar incident was also reported in Kandahar province.

In recent weeks, explosions and armed clashes have increased in Kabul and along border areas. The Taliban blames Pakistan for the violence, while Islamabad denies the allegations and instead accuses Kabul of harboring Pakistani Taliban militants on its territory.
