A gas explosion occurred at a food center in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan on the night of February 27. The explosion occurred in a one-story food center adjacent to a five-story residential building. As a result of the incident, 7 people died, including a 16-year-old girl, and a total of 26 people were injured to varying degrees.
The Akmola regional administration is investigating the cause of the incident and providing necessary assistance to the victims and their families.
