Explosion in Gulistan: 3 officials arrested

Three people were arrested in connection with the explosion in the kitchen of the Bek Family Cafe in Gulistan. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the explosion occurred on December 2 when a 50-liter gas cylinder leaked due to improper connection and mixed with air. As a result of the incident, 29 people received burn injuries, 3 died. 5 patients were returned home, and the rest are undergoing treatment.
A case was opened under several articles of the Criminal Code regarding the incident, and 3 company officials were arrested. An investigation group was formed into the case.
A government commission was formed on December 3. On December 4, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received information about the victims and announced that 100 million soums would be allocated to the families of the victims.
