Explosion at TashMI intersection: incident occurred during testing

Earlier, we reported that a water pipe exploded at the TashMI intersection in Tashkent. It turned out that this happened during a test conducted by Veolia Energy Tashkent as part of preparations for the 2025–2026 heating season. This section of the heating network was put into operation in 1989. As a result of the incident, nearby shops were damaged, windows were broken. 3 citizens were slightly injured. The hot water supply did not stop, the pipe was immediately localized.
It was also reported that all damage will be fully compensated by Veolia Energy Tashkent.
