Explosion at gas station in Kashkadarya

On August 5, an explosion and fire occurred at a gas station on cars located in the neighborhood of “Oltindala” in Kokdala district, Kashkadarya region. According to the Ministry of emergency situations, the incident was caused by a flash during a propane gas injection.

The fire burned 1 auto-cistern and a 10-Cube propane storage reservoir. In the last 20 days, it was the second explosion to be observed in the area of the district, with 4 people killed in an earlier incident on July 16.
