Explosion at an explosives production facility in Bukhara: 4 dead

On December 6, a powerful flash occurred at an explosives manufacturing facility owned by SHAMS LTD LLC in the Kogon district. The incident led to a fire, which rescue services fully extinguished at 10:27.

At the time of the incident, 30 workers were present in the facility’s warehouse area. Four people were killed, and four others sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. Two of the injured were discharged after receiving first medical aid.

Following the President’s instruction, a Government Commission has been established to investigate the causes of the incident, prevent further risks, and provide assistance to the victims.
