“Every Iranian Killed Will Be Avenged” — Mojtaba Khamenei

Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has made his first public statement since taking office. In a speech broadcast on state television, he called for the immediate closure of US military bases in the region. Khamenei himself was not seen in the footage.

According to Khamenei, unless the US bases are closed, attacks on them will continue. He also stressed that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed as a means of putting pressure on the enemies. Mojtaba Khamenei said that every Iranian killed will be avenged and that this struggle will continue until the end, and that Iran will demand compensation from the enemies, otherwise they will be severely damaged.

He also called on the population for national unity and expressed gratitude to the Iranian military for saving the country from disintegration.
