At the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed the introduction of a single alphabet for all Turkic states. The proposal was submitted to the secretariat of the organization. Erdogan expressed hope that this issue will be carefully resolved by the organization. "We continue our efforts to strengthen cooperation in the field of higher education to strengthen our human relations based on our language, culture and history. Of course, language is very important in strengthening our unity. Common alphabet is also important. the support of the component and the presidents is important here: "I am sure that the proposal presented by the Council of Higher Education to the secretariat of our organization will be considered by our organization," Erdogan said.
