According to the presidential decree, a new procedure for financial fines for entrepreneurs will come into force in Uzbekistan from October 1.

According to it, if entrepreneurs pay 50% of the fine within 1 month after it is imposed, the remaining part will be canceled. There is also an opportunity to pay the fine in installments over 6 months. In this case, if 1/6 of it is paid in the first month, the installments will be automatically applied. If the court cancels the fine or finds it illegal, the previously paid funds will be returned within 15 days. In case of delay, interest will be calculated in the amount of 1/300 of the Central Bank rate for each day.

Starting from 2027, an electronic registry system for fines will be launched. Fines not included in it will be considered invalid. Entrepreneurs will also be able to file an online complaint with the court.
