The UK Government is preparing a bill to ban the sale of energy drinks such as Red Bull, Monster, Prime to people under the age of 16. The ban extends to shops, restaurants, cafes, vending machines and internet trading.

Experts note that these drinks cause headaches, insomnia, heart rhythm disturbances and obesity in children. The government plans to put the law into effect before the end of the parliamentary term.
