Emomali Rahmon congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his 66th birthday

The President held a telephone conversation today with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and congratulated him on his birthday, the press service of the head of the Tajik state reports.

“Emomali Rahmon wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev health, happiness, prosperity and new great success in the implementation of state plans for the benefit of the fraternal people of Uzbekistan,” the message says.

Emphasizing the significant contribution of Mirziyoyev to the steady socio-economic development of the neighboring country and strengthening its position in the international arena, the Tajik president wished progress and prosperity to Uzbekistan, the press service writes.

The presidents also considered certain aspects of the Tajik-Uzbek strategic partnership and allied cooperation.

It is reported that the parties emphasized the firm readiness of the parties to deepen the trusting interstate dialogue and further fruitful development of friendship and good-neighborly relations in accordance with the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
