Elon Musk's meme about Zelensky caused controversy

Elon Musk posted a meme mocking the Ukrainian president's request for military aid.
The meme about the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, published by the American billionaire, Tesla and Space X founder Elon Musk on the X social network on Monday, October 2, caused a sharp reaction in social networks and the media.

Musk posted a photoshopped meme that went viral a few years ago. It shows Zelensky sitting next to a woman upset. The caption under the meme read: "Five minutes after you didn't ask for a billion dollar bailout."

In the first seven hours after its publication, the post received more than 360,000 "likes" and caused a lot of negative and condemning reactions. Thus, one of the users posted a photoshopped photo of Musk in the uniform of a Russian Armed Forces officer in his comments. Another user posted an altered photo of Putin with the caption: "Five minutes after your nuclear threat."

The British BBC media company called Musk's meme about the Ukrainian president "bordering on insults."
