Elon Musk plans to build cities on the Moon and Mars

Elon Musk announced plans to build cities on the Moon and Mars. According to him, a settlement is planned on the Moon in the coming decades, and SpaceX has made this a priority.

The company plans to start building a city on Mars in 5–7 years. Musk emphasized that flights to Mars occur every 26 months and take about six months, while flights to the Moon happen every 10 days and last about two days, which accelerates the construction process.

Musk also stated that it would take more than 20 years to fully build a city on Mars. Meanwhile, NASA plans to send humans to the Moon in March 2026 under the “Artemis” program.
