🐘 Elephant mother “takes revenge” on EV charging station after calf gets tangled in cable
In China, a herd of elephants damaged an electric vehicle charging station. A video circulating on social media shows a baby elephant getting its leg tangled in a charging cable.
The mother elephant freed the calf’s leg from the cable and then seemingly “took revenge” by knocking over the charging unit. According to station staff, the damage amounted to around 20,000 yuan.
The elephants were not electrocuted because the charging cable had a thick insulation layer.
People who were nearby during the incident became frightened and hid inside their cars.
