😱 Elephant attacks people during festival in India

An elephant attacked people during a festival in the Indian state of Kerala. As five decorated elephants were being paraded in front of people during the Thrissur Puram religious festival, one of them suddenly grabbed a man by the leg and threw him off. The man was injured in the incident. More than two dozen people were also injured in the stampede and panic.

One of the region's most prominent religious festivals, Thrissur Puram is famous for its elephant processions, in which decorated elephants march in time to the beat of drums.
