Electricity bills of 6,000 subscribers in Tashkent with waste debt have been restricted

In Tashkent, more than 6 thousand subscribers who owe for waste services have had their electricity bills temporarily restricted.
According to the Waste Management Agency, on November 5, more than 25 thousand subscribers were sent an SMS warning by the “Regional Electric Networks” about a debt of 2.2 billion soums. Restrictions have been imposed on those who have not paid their debts within the specified 5-day period. The city has a total debt of more than 582 million soums for waste services. Once the debt is paid in full, the restriction will be lifted immediately.

Starting in December, this procedure will be introduced throughout the republic. And from 2026, waste payments will be made only online.
