New tariffs for electricity and natural gas will be introduced in Uzbekistan from June 1, UzA reported.
The price of 1 kWh for consumers of groups I and II and group IV for electricity has been set at 1,100 soums. For group III, including the population, differentiated tariffs were retained:
— Up to 200 kWh — 650 soums
— 201–500 kWh — 900 soums
— 501–1000 kWh — 1,100 soums
For special categories of consumers, the prices are as follows:
— Up to 200 kWh — 325 soums
— 201–500 kWh — 450 soums
— 501–1000 kWh — 550 soums
For all consumers (except for certain categories), the price of 1 cubic meter of natural gas was set at 2,000 soums. For the population, 1 cubic meter of gas for consumption up to 500 cubic meters in the heating season and up to 100 cubic meters in other seasons will cost 1,100 soums. For gas filling stations, the price of 1 cubic meter of gas has been set at 2,750 soums.
