Eldor Shomurodov's goal among the most beautiful goals
FIFA has announced the list of the 12 most beautiful goals of the 2026 World Cup group stage. The goal scored by Uzbekistan national team captain Eldor Shomurodov against DR Congo is also among the candidates.
FIFA recognized this goal as one of the brightest moments of Uzbekistan's debut at the World Cup. According to the organization, Shomurodov inspired his team with a skillful shot that went over the goalkeeper.
Along with Shomurodov, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and other famous players are also participating in the voting for the best goal. The winner will be determined by fan votes on the official FIFA platform.
