Egypt opened the Rafah point on the border with Gaza for evacuation

The Rafah checkpoint between the Gaza Strip and Egypt was opened for limited evacuation. The Gaza Sector Border Police stated on the morning of 1 November that HAMAS would allow citizens of Austria, Australia, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Jordan, Finland, Czech Republic and Japan to leave the Gaza Strip.

Citizens of the third state can leave the sector through this checkpoint. Egypt intends to transfer about 90 wounded Palestinians and about 450 foreigners through Rafah. On the Egyptian side, ambulances began to enter the sector.
