Economic agreements were signed with Qatar

Presidential decisions "On the approval of the international agreement" (No. PQ-287, No. PQ-288, 28.08.2023) were adopted.

The following agreements were approved between the Governments of Uzbekistan and the State of Qatar:

on mutual promotion and protection of investments;
on elimination of double taxation of income taxes and prevention of tax evasion and evasion.
These agreements were signed on June 6, 2023 in the city of Samarkand.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade and the Tax Committee were designated as competent bodies responsible for the implementation of the international agreement.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments shall ensure the control over the implementation of its provisions after the entry into force of this international agreement.
