"Sharq Taronalari" international festival will now be held in Namangan

A tourism cluster will be created in the ancient city of Ahsikent. Today, dozens of hotels and other infrastructure are being built here. On the initiative of the president, the international festival "Sharq taronalari" traditionally held in Samarkand city will now be held in Namangan. This was announced by Anvar Ikromov, the head of the Department of Protection and Research of the Archaeological Heritage of Akhsikent, at the 25th session of the General Assembly of UNWTO.

In Namangan, intensive preparations are being made for this important event: dozens of hotels are being built and the necessary infrastructure is being created.
"Tourism potential of Namangan region is increasing. A tourism cluster is being created, dozens of hotels and other infrastructures are being built. Soon, the world-famous "Eastern Songs" festival will be held there," said Anvar Ikromov.
It should be noted that the "Sharq Taronalari" international music festival has been held in Samarkand every two years since 1997. This year it was postponed for unknown reasons.
