Earthquake in Afghanistan: 8 killed
A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck northern Afghanistan and western Pakistan on April 3, killing eight people in Kabul and injuring a child. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range, 150 km east of the city of Kunduz. The natural disaster was felt in many parts of Afghanistan, as well as in parts of Uzbekistan, Pakistan and India. Emergency services across the country are now on alert.
