The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and China will develop transport corridors, Andrey Slepnev, Minister of Trade of the EEC, said as part of a video bridge at the Sputnik press center.
According to him, last year there was a record volume of trade between China and the EAEU - $ 215 billion, and the figure continues to grow.
“We cooperate with China in transport and logistics, this is very important. The EAEU occupies a unique geographical position and provides an opportunity to develop transport corridors within the continent. We also cooperate in the areas of technology, new financial systems, food and energy security,” Slepnev said.
He noted that it is difficult to name a direction in which the countries of the union "would not have prospects with China."
