Drone attack on St. Petersburg and Leningrad region: 141 drones shot down

On the morning of June 6, Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Local authorities confirmed this.
St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov urged residents to stay indoors and not go out unless absolutely necessary. The attack caused disruptions in mobile internet and communication services in the city.
The head of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, reported that 141 drones had been destroyed in the sky over the region. Their remains fell in several districts, and fires were also recorded in some areas.
According to official data, there are no reports of casualties yet. The extent of the damage is also unclear.
According to some sources, the attack may have been aimed at military and infrastructure facilities, but this has not yet been confirmed.
